Pre-Implantation Genetic Testing (PGT) is a procedure performed during IVF to examine embryos before implantation for certain genetic illnesses or chromosomal abnormalities. Couples with a history of genetic problems, advanced maternal age, recurrent miscarriages, or repeated failed IVF efforts may benefit from PGT. PGT can raise the odds of a successful pregnancy and lower the danger of passing on inherited genetic disorders to the offspring by selecting Embryos with no Genetic abnormalities. PGT is not, however, a guarantee of a healthy pregnancy, and its application is adapted to each individual's circumstances and medical history.
